REPAIRS AND RESTORATION
We undertake all types of repairs and restoration. Restringing, repining, restoring actions, regulating, polishing, is all carried out to the highest standard and all work is guaranteed. We also advise on whether the instrument is worth restoring as some instruments, due to their age, may not be worth the time, effort and expense. Sometimes is just worth going out and buying a new piano as at the end of the day they are purely mechanical and do wear out over time.

PIANO TUNING
Pianos need to be tuned on a regular basis so that they maintain their pitch which is A 440. This is the standard pitch of all instruments. Pianos need to be tuned at least once a year and, if they are played more frequently, they will probably need two tunings a year. Tuning can take up to an hour depending on the pitch and if they are flat, it requires more time.
The current tuning fee is £50 and if repairs or regulating is needed we will discuss the time required to do the work and how this will affect the cost.
I use a motorcycle to get to appointments, so there is no congestion charge for Central London and rarely any parking charges. All work is always fully guaranteed.
